Executive summary

Since 2 February 2025, Art. 4 of the EU AI Act has required companies to ensure that employees using AI have sufficient AI literacy — with no transition period. The AI knowledge base translates this duty into a ready-to-use internal curriculum: not a teaser, but a complete working document with exercises, prompt libraries and trainer material.

The 120 teaching units are organised into 10 modules — from AI fundamentals and law through prompt engineering, data and Excel, multimodal AI and agents, to security, strategy and roll-out. Three learning paths (self-study, multipliers, AI champions) make the same material usable for different roles and maturity levels.
